Despite three company names, it was essentially the same company all along. We started out as Real Access Consulting, started by two people from Lotus. I joined as a key developer of low level Lotus Notes/Domino integrations in to existing Line of Business applications.
I used C++ to integrate the Lotus Notes/Domino system with customer systems, and with this we could stand above other Lotus Notes integration providers. We developed a product called realSCRIPT, which was deployed to over 150 field force representatives at Pfizer Pharmaceuticals South Africa. I developed the field force application on PalmOS in C++ using Metrowerks CodeWarrior. I also developed the PalmOS conduits for the client machines, replicating data with the local Lotus Notes installations. This would then replicate to a central Lotus Domino server overnight via dial up.
